Yes, it's machine washable (use a laundry bag). The nylon material lasts much longer than a regular loofah. Just hang it up to dry after each use.
Can I use it on my face?

Probably not. It's designed for body exfoliation and is too rough for facial skin. Stick to using it from the shoulders down.
